All Mies came to life when Walmir Luz became aware of how brands were substantially marking up products based on design: an exploitation tool used to justify massive retail profits. With a background in design, Walmir saw an opportunity to use his skills to revolutionize the retail industry. He partnered with Philip Paul to develop a business strategy that could achieve great products with high-quality standards without the infamous premium price tags. Today, the All Mies brand offers internationally acclaimed designs with high-end materials at a fraction of the price of our competitors. We believe that great design is for everyone, so we aligned vision with action and made it possible!

DEFYING

SYMMETRY

Bauhaus was envisioned to be an effortless blend of elegance with simplicity. While extracting principles from modernist architecture such as clean lines and a simple framework, the timepiece expands on the concept by defying symmetry and conformity with subtle elements. The little breaks in consistency create a final model that exudes versatility and boldness. It is a respectful understanding of the past while fiercely defining the future.

ARTFUL EXPERIENCE

The All Mies packaging is inspired by the art of model making: topographic models can be created to illustrate mass and shape through the use of a sequence of layers. The final design expands upon the architectural identity of the brand by creating a play between volumes and voids, and it lets form follow function. Embracing the same style found on the timepieces, the packaging is carefully designed to create an artful experience from beginning to end. The concept relies on a series of different layers that are tightly fit together as pieces of a puzzle waiting to slowly unveil the final product inside.

CURATED SHOPPING EXPERIENCE

The All Mies website is inspired on Japanese minimalist architecture. Through the use of white spaces, selected grey canvas and oversized fonts, the website creates a simple and minimalist look that sensibly orchestrates the user interaction with the website. Brand identity and information blend together in a unique way, bringing clarity and simplicity to a curated shopping experience.
